Fantastic meal and evening at 1618 Sefood Grill. The Trio was fresh and well prepared. The seabass was a favorite and our service was great. Reservations recommended and kid friendly service but mainly date night or out with friends. Semi fine dining with average plate at $33....

Sometimes you go to a place multiple times and it’s never as good as the first. For us, never happens here. It is always simply the best. We sometimes try other “special” places for occasions and they never match up. Service great, lots of regulars on the menu but also plenty of new options. We always split an appetizer and a salad ( house salad with lemon vinaigrette is fantastic salad). THe combinations of things you’ve never thought of are always spot on. Seafood or steaks are cooked perfectly. And we always over indulge on dessert. Read some recent not as flattering recent reviews but we’ve never had a bad experience and our service is always perfectly timed, not rushed or slow. It is a well oiled upscale dinner place. The nature of the building is on the loud side so be prepared for that. It has been our favorite place for years and dinner on a busy Saturday night was perfection yet again.

Best meals ever! We live in the Raleigh area and decided to meet a friend travelling for business at 1618 Seafood Grille. What an amazing find! The meals were cooked and seasoned perfectly, creating a flavor that simply melted in the mouth. The meals were plated beautifully. The restaurant was quite cold and the service slow, but none of that detracted from the deliciousness of the meals we all experienced. Kudos to the chef and the owners - we will be back despite a hefty drive!

Food is well above the other seafood venues in town. Servers are quick and knowledgeable. Great wines, fab food, and nice ambiance

I know people who come to the area yearly and this is a destination spot for them. I know why. I also know that this deserves more attention.Excellent selection of beer, cocktails, etc. Menu for these is well organized and helpful for focusing in. Boom.The food here is pricey but very good. Presentation of dishes is immaculate with great attention to detail. Dig the tuna. Another boom.Service here is attentive. Chic ambiance and setting. Greensboro lacks dining of this caliber but 1618 (all locations) makes up for it. Great for a date, special occasion, or because you deserve it.

First time here. I am a lover of restaurants and trying new foods, drinks, etc. I always have an open mind, and mouth, but there were no pictures of the dining room on the website so I have one below. For someone who is not fond of snug places, this place is not for me. Possibly sitting in the bar area is an option but it seems to always be full according to reviews. The food is good, more than anyone can eat, and each plate seems to have multiple food groups so be prepared to dissect your food. Lots going on with the food. Which seems most dishes are stacked. The presentation is amazing but there are hidden spices and foods that aren't mentioned in the description. So be careful if you have allergies. Staff was friendly, and the establishment was clean and had a friendly atmosphere in general. Food was overall very fresh and very tasty. I would recommend this place and would give it a 2nd chance, but in the bar area of course. Spent $120 for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails.

My favorite place to go for a special treat. The food is completely flawless. The plates look like a piece of art and are just as delicious as they look.

The food and service is very very good. The prices are stupid high but if you're looking for a fancy dinner this might be the place.

This is the 1st time that we visit this restaurant and I could say that it is wonderful culinary experience. The presentation was a work of art and delicious..excellent sea food and our waitress Kathryn was excellent. I recommend this restaurant and give it a no question 5 star must try place

1618 is one of those "must do" restaurants in Greensboro, and in the greater Triad area in general. In summary, the food is great, but the service is what makes this location a truly special dining experience. The Calamari is an excellent appetizer that's lightly battered, a wasabi glaze, sitting on a bed of red bean salsa, and drizzling of chipotle remoulade sauce. Odd combination for sure but it exceeds all expectations!Overall, 1618 Seafood is simply fantastic. This is without question the place to go for an elevated seafood experience!

Had an excellent dinner here tonight. We were not able to get a table but the bartender was exceptional and was very caring for the little lady who was vegetarian as well as the back of the house helping prepare the dish.Had the shrimp for an app, a little hard to share, it was good but can't say it was anything of of this world.The tune entree was pretty delicious and fresh. The vegetarian pasta that was prepared for the mini vegetarian was spot on and was great. Do you know how hard it is to have a dish a vegetarian child likes?My only complaint was the creme brulee. I guess I'm a purist and I need to stop letting myself think cb's prepared anyway but traditional will ever do it for me. They just don't, it wasn't bad or anything just wasn't for me.The service, again, was exceptional and the bartender was great!

This restaurant is one of my go-to is when I'm in the area. There are very few restaurants of this caliber in the Greensboro area. Service is always exceptional and the cocktails are always on point.

I ordered the sesame salmon thing but it ended up getting the tuna instead. I'm not a big fish fan but it was amazing 🤩. They cooked me a piece of salmon to make up for it but the tuna was so good. Service was amazing as was the food. No matter what you order you'll be happy.

Went there for an office Christmas party. They didn't disappoint! The food was fantastic and the drinks were amazing. If we're in the area we will go back!

Absolutely amazing!!I'm not usually a seafood person. But, I stepped out of my box and ordered the seabass. Oh, I'm so glad I did. It was perfect!! This used to be our go-to place for special occasions, but we haven't been in years. It is just as we remembered. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. Our server, Damien, really made our anniversary dinner special with very kind words and cheesecake for dessert! It was a wonderful dining experience!

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. Service and staff is impeccable and the menu always delights. Best cocktails ever! We just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary there on the outdoor patio. Can't wait to go back for another delicious dining experience!

The tuna was strongly recommended by multiple people and they weren't wrong. It was very, very good. The seafood trio was also very good, and our group shared a calamari appetizer that was perfectly prepared. Service was excellent and our experience really couldn't have been better.

Wow is all I can say. One of Greensboro's finest treasures. The selections were well prepared and presented. I had the seafood trio and it was amazing. The wait staff were knowledgable but not pushy. Definitely will eat here again.

Everything was wonderful. Evans was quite knowledgable about wine, the appetizer and meal was great, and the Cowboys lost to the Packers. Perfect!

Took my wife here for her birthday. Highly, highly recommended. The food is absolutely delicious, creative and there was enough to fulfill our hunger so that neither of us left feeling like we would have to find something else to satiate our appetites later. Our waitress could have done more to present the menu items but overall the experience was very gratifying.
